Evaluations
We will start with an evaluation to get a clear, detailed picture of your child’s communication strengths and challenges. This process provides a roadmap for the therapy journey, allowing us to set goals that are personalized to your child’s needs.
We often observe, interact, and engage in play-based activities to get a natural sense of how your child communicates. If appropriate, we may also complete a standardized assessment. Once the evaluation is complete, we will share our results and discuss our recommendations with you.
Our Approach to Therapy
At Speech & Language with Supreet, sessions are a balance of purpose and play. Each activity is designed to target your child’s goals while they have fun— so most of the time, your child won't even know they are practicing new skills!
We also work closely with parents and caregivers, providing guidance and tools to reinforce skills at home. You will receive detailed progress notes explaining what we worked on during speech each day and ways that you can continue supporting your child’s goals at home.
Early Intervention
Let’s work together to help your toddler communicate! Our early intervention sessions focus on functional words that your child will use every day, like “go,” “all done,” “help,” and “my turn” during play. Your child will think they are just moving and playing, but in reality, they will be gaining new communication skills like:
Expressing wants, needs, and ideas
Using gestures, words, and phrases
Interacting with family members
Parents are always encouraged to join in on the fun and learn strategies for supporting communication at home.
Speech Sound Disorders
Speech therapy focuses on improving your child’s speech sound production and motor planning, allowing them to pronounce words more accurately and smoothly. Using therapeutic cueing strategies and evidence-based therapy methods like DTTC, we will help your child improve their articulation, phonological skills, and motor coordination so that they can:
Speak clearly at home, in school, and in the community
Listen to and adjust their own speech
Advocate for themselves
Share their ideas with confidence
Language Disorders
Does your child have a hard time understanding what they are told, telling stories, or forming complete sentences? We can help! Our language therapy sessions focus on both receptive and expressive communication skills to help your child:
Use words, sentences, grammar, and language concepts
Understand and follow instructions, questions, and stories
Achieve academic success in reading and writing

Social Skills

Express their needs and set boundaries
